This One Ounce Gold Bar, from the Royal Mint, marks the anniversary of His Majesty King Charles III’s accession to the throne. The obverse of the bar features His Majesty’s royal cypher topped with the Tudor Crown. The reverse of the bar, designed by Thomas T. Docherty, features four heraldic beasts and symbols of the United Kingdom: the Lion of England, the Unicorn of Scotland, the Dragon of Wales, and the Irish Elk of Northern Ireland, some recognisable from the Queen’s Beast Range. The Royal Celebration bar ranges between polished and frosted finishes. The bars are sealed in official Royal Mint, secure blister packaging along with a unique serial number. These bars have a limited mintage of 5000. The Royal Celebration series were also minted in one ounce silver and ten ounce silver editions. The one ounce silver bar can be found here.
