This one ounce silver bar, celebrates a historic design, inspired by the 1847 Gothic Crown. These bars were released in 2024 by the Royal Mint as part of the ‘Great Engravers’ series and quickly Wyon drew praise for its awe-inspiring design. The original design was engraved by William Wyon and after a renewed interest, known as Gothic Revival, this lead to a redesign. Inspired by gothic architecture, the obverse of the bar features the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom, surrounded by intricate heraldic designs. The reverse of the bar features the portrait of Her Late Queen Victoria, with a crown, braided hair and floral dress. The inscription of ‘1oz 999.9 fine silver’ features in medieval-style calligraphy. The bars are sealed in secure blister packaging. A limited-edition mintage of 5,000. These bars are preowned.
