The half peru was in circulation during the period of 1902 to 1908. After itermmitent mintage during 1956 and 1955 they began to be produced yearly from 1961-1969. The reverse of this coin displays the Peruvian coat of arms.The obverse of this coin has the depiction of Manco Capac.

This 1 Ducat coin is produced by the Viennese Mint in Austria. A particularly interesting detail about this coin is that the carat of the gold is much higher than other European gold coins. They are produced in 23.6 carat (a fineness of 0.986). Ducat coins have been issued in Austria since at least 1612.
