Britannia Silver Dishes

Set of two Britannia silver dishes issued by the Royal Mint.Each dish incorporates an electrotype of the 1797 Cartwheel penny, one dish with the obverse, one the reverse, mounted above six sailing ships - inspired by the eighteenth century vessel on the reverse of the cartwheel penny. The dishes are made of Britannia ( 0.958 fine silver) and the approximate individual weight is 6.5 troy ounces. This set is a limited issue of 200.
