Struck in 22 carat gold and containing 0.1177 troy ounce fine gold, the Half Sovereign for 2009 retains the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley. The reverse shows the classic design of St George and the Dragon by Pistrucci. The Half Sovereign comes with a presentation case and has an issue limit of 75000.
